As an Accountant, you’re expected to be highly skilled and detail-oriented. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in accounting principles, demonstrated proficiency in financial analysis, and extensive experience in preparing and analysing financial records. Adept at utilising accounting software and systems. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure accuracy and effectiveness in all accounting tasks and reports
- Ensure all financial reporting deliverables are completed timely and comply with business and policies and standards, including monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
- Assist with management of accounting/bookkeeping processes.
- Produce accurate and factual reporting to show overall financial health of the business
- Assist the Senior Accountant in financial management accounting and reporting procedures to support the company’s strategic business planning and forecasted growth
- Support account reconciliations and other bookkeeping services, as needed
Requirements:
- Experience in Accounting or financial roles of 4-5 years (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, finance or related field
- Excellent understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
- Strong financial analysis skills and thorough knowledge of accounting procedures.
- Highly analytical and extreme attention to detail required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and to work with a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel and accounting software
