Barber

As a Barber, you will be responsible for offering a variety of grooming services, including haircuts, shaves, beard trims, and other styling services. You will use your skills and expertise to meet each client’s individual grooming needs while providing excellent customer service and ensuring a high standard of hygiene and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

Haircuts & Styling:

• Perform haircuts and styles based on customer preferences, face shapes, and hair types.
• Offer a range of haircuts, including classic, modern, and trendy styles.
• Provide styling advice to clients based on current trends and their desired look.

Shaving & Beard Grooming:

• Provide straight razor shaves, beard trims, and beard sculpting.
• Ensure the highest level of care and precision in grooming facial hair.
• Recommend and provide advice on beard care products, including oils, balms, and moisturizers.

Client Consultation:

• Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their grooming preferences and provide tailored advice.
• Ensure clients are satisfied with their grooming experience and encourage repeat visits.

Customer Service:

• Deliver exceptional customer service with a friendly, approachable, and professional attitude.
• Maintain a comfortable, clean, and welcoming environment for clients.
• Handle client concerns or complaints in a polite and efficient manner.

Salon Maintenance & Cleanliness:

• Maintain a clean and sanitized work station, tools, and equipment.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Keep the barbershop tidy and organized, including sweeping up hair and cleaning surfaces.

Sales & Product Recommendations:

• Recommend and sell grooming products such as hair care, beard care, and shaving products to clients.
• Promote any special offers, services, or new products available in the shop.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with other barbers and staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Assist with training new staff members when necessary.

Professional Development:

• Stay current with the latest barbering trends, techniques, and tools.
• Participate in ongoing training to expand your skills and expertise.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience: Proven experience in barbering, with a strong portfolio of haircut and grooming skills. Experience in a barbershop or salon is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Expertise in hair cutting, shaving, and beard grooming techniques, including the use of clippers, razors, and other barbering tools.
• Customer Service: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering outstanding customer care.
