We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaners and experienced Supervisors to join our team in Malta.
Responsibilities:
Commercial Cleaners:
- Perform cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Sanitize restrooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces
- Assists in planning and controlling deep cleaning and maintenance schedules and ensures they are executed in a timely and efficient manner by the relevant parties
- Ensures all pantries and equipment used are constantly maintained in a clean, neat and organised manner and that all equipment is in good working order
- Perform routine cleaning tasks
- Report any maintenance issues & safety hazards
- Adhere to health & safety guidelines
- Follow all company policies & procedures
- Maintain confidentiality & professionalism.
Supervisors:
- Oversee and coordinate a team of cleaners to maintain high cleanliness standards
- Ensure tasks are completed on time and to company standards
- Conduct quality inspections and address any cleaning deficiencies
- Provide training and guidance to new cleaning staff
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages
- Communicate effectively with management to report issues, progress, and areas needing improvement
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling and shift planning
Requirements:
For Cleaners:
- Prior experience in commercial or industrial cleaning is preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards
- Basic understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning
- Ideally a minimum of 1 years’ experience
For Supervisors:
- Proven experience in a cleaning supervisor or related leadership role
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate team members
- Basic knowledge of inventory management and scheduling
- Ability to handle challenges and provide quick solutions to maintain quality
- Ideally a minimum of 2 years’ experience
