Control Room Operator (CANDIDATES MUST BE IN MALTA )

One of our clients is looking for a Control Room Operator.

The role

The selected candidates will be responsible for the monitoring and control of a large SCADA based Building Automation System (Shift 24/7 basis). The ideal candidate should be a qualified Electrical Technician and should be organised, motivated, self-disciplined and task oriented.

Preference will be given to applicants who have previous experience on SCADA, PLC, Automation and BMS technologies.

Required qualifications and skills

Good working and practical knowledge of MS Office (mainly Excel and Word).
Willing to learn new technologies, implement new processes and take instructions.
A can-do attitude and willing to work under own initiative.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Fluent in English and good communication skills.
Good organisation and documentation skills.
Problem-solving skills and have success-oriented thinking.
Motivated, flexible and responsive to challenges.
Team player.

The following skills would be considered as an asset to this position

Diploma in electrical installation or electronics or industrial electronics or telecommunications or equivalent.
Knowledge of electrical and electronics.
Be able to follow electrical circuit diagrams
Knowledge in electrical systems 1 and 3 phase
Knowledge in industrial Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC Systems)
