HVAC/Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC/Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic team. This full-time, on-site role requires a focus on design calculations, analysis, schematics, drawings, Bills of Quantities, and specifications for HVAC and Mechanical Services. The ideal candidate will collaborate with architects and engineers to develop accurate and sustainable designs for various projects across sectors such as commercial, residential, healthcare, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and analyze HVAC and mechanical systems for various projects.
• Create schematics, drawings, and Bills of Quantities in line with project specifications.
• Develop detailed specifications for HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with architects and engineers to ensure project designs meet sustainability goals.
• Ensure designs are compliant with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for project stakeholders.
• Assist in the preparation of project timelines and budgets.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Preferably degree-qualified (BSc or MSc in HVAC/Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent.
• Holder of Malta Engineering warrant or working towards it.
• Experience in various sectors including commercial, residential, healthcare, etc.
• Working knowledge of ACAD and Building Information Modelling (BIM).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Deadline-oriented with a strong attention to detail.
• Problem-solving abilities and excellent collaboration skills.
