MEP Quantity Surveyor

One of our valued clients is seeking an MEP Quantity Surveyor to manage costs and supporting project teams in achieving their objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Bid Evaluation and Contract Analysis: Evaluate bids and contracts to assess their suitability and provide expert advice.
Project Management Support: Assist project managers with project programming and procurement of resources.
Cost Control and Analysis: Analyse and control project costs, prepare and substantiate claims, and make recommendations for payments.
Site Visits and Meetings: Attend meetings and conduct site visits as required.
Measurements and Documentation: Carry out site measurements, as well as measurements from tender and workshop drawings.
Supplier and Subcontractor Management: Review quotes and progress on site, prepare tender documents, and process payments.
Financial Reporting: Produce job costing, “cost to complete” reports, and Operations Department financial P&L reporting.
Management Reporting: Prepare monthly management reports including work in progress, invoicing, and forecasting.

Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Building Services environment.
Strong reporting skills.
Financial awareness, including P&L and Cashflow.
Strong commercial and contractual awareness.
Strong negotiation skills.
Ability to read, produce, and understand technical documentation/drawings and scopes of work.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel.
Proficiency in ACAD on MEP works
