Process Engineer / Quality Engineer
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Process Engineer / Quality Engineer to ensure that all manufactured products meet the agreed quality standards and customer requirements. The role involves developing and maintaining quality systems, training personnel, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and product quality.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Process Engineer / Quality Engineer to ensure that all manufactured products meet the agreed quality standards and customer requirements. The role involves developing and maintaining quality systems, training personnel, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and product quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- APQP implementer and driver
- Creates and updates Process FMEAs as required while involvement in job-planning is necessary to focus on prevention mentality
- Create risk mitigation plans based on RPNs and come up with process improvements to reduce the RPNs (Quality Systems)
- Creates new quality systems, conduct quality system improvements, creates quality gates to reduce process waste and protect the end customer
- Adheres and improves lean manufacturing principles on the shop floor and focus on right-first-time to achieve Build in Quality Level 4.
- Supports projects and work to meet the BIQ costs and savings.
- Strive towards a 6-sigma quality level, where appropriate.
- Support in external customer complaints and be able to communicate outside the factory
- Lead QRQC to ensure that the causes of customer dissatisfaction and internal complaints are identified, and robust actions are introduced to stop reoccurrence
- Motivate and lead a group of subordinates aligned with the business strategy. Coaching is expected when required or needed by the subordinates.
- Supports the Quality Manager in investigations and follow up any pending Process Quality issues.
- Works with all the sections to compile CoPQ and have respective actions to reduce and eliminate it
- Drives and support problem solving sessions on-line or off-line and drives a zero defects mentality
- Interpretation of statistical data and come up with actions to improve Built-in-Quality costs
- Assist with the development of audit plans for product and process audits
REQUIREMENTS
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent in a related field
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing practices and lean processes
- Understanding of product development process requirements
- Demonstrated competencies in all aspects of project management
- Excellent communication skills and a team player
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 3 years of experience in a similar role
