As a Procurement Coordinator within the Technical Projects department, the selected candidate will oversee procurement strategies, supplier relationships, and inventory management. The role serves as a crucial link between the Procurement and Projects teams, ensuring project timelines, budgets, and objectives are met.

Key Responsibilities:
- Align procurement activities with project budgets and timelines.
- Conduct market research to secure competitive rates and services.
- Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to maintain budgetary control.
- Perform pre-qualification technical assessments for tenders or equivalent processes.
- Expedite orders to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Draft and negotiate procurement contracts with clear deliverables and compliance measures.
- Conduct inspections and audits on suppliers for quality assurance.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in procurement and inventory processes.
- Implement best practices in procurement and resource management.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or inventory management.
- Proven experience in team leadership.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
- Familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements in procurement.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
