We are looking for a dynamic, technically skilled Project Manager (PM) to assist with the final phase of construction for a prestigious hotel in Marsalforn. The role will involve overseeing the finishes and ensuring the timely completion of the project. Post-completion, the PM will transition to handling other exciting real estate development projects across Gozo for our client.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically proficient individual with experience in construction, engineering, and project management, particularly in overseeing mechanical, electrical, and civil works. The role will require a hands-on approach, on-site presence in Gozo, and close collaboration with the company’s senior management.

 About the Company:

Our client is a well-established real estate development company with a focus on high-end residential and commercial projects. They are currently nearing the completion of their flagship project, a 4-star hotel in Marsalforn, Gozo, which is set to open in June. Following the successful launch of the hotel, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in the company’s future real estate ventures in Gozo

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the final construction phase of the hotel project, focusing on finishes and final touches.
• Supervise onsite works, ensuring adherence to project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Work closely with senior management to ensure the completion of the hotel project by the June opening.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues that may arise during the construction phase.
• Post-hotel completion, manage various real estate development projects for the company across Gozo.
• Oversee MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) aspects, ensuring smooth integration and functioning of these systems.
• Provide technical guidance and oversight, including knowledge of CAD for design adjustments and project drawings.

• First Preference: A qualified Engineer with experience in both Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, coupled with project management experience.
• Second Preference: An Architect or Project Manager with strong experience in civil engineering and good knowledge of MEP systems.
• Proven experience in managing construction projects, ideally within the local context of Malta/Gozo.
• Hands-on experience with supervision of on-site works and project completion.
• Proficiency in CAD software is a must.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Gozo for the initial 5 months of the project (accommodation provided).
• After the hotel completion, the candidate will be expected to commute daily from Malta to Gozo and be available for project needs.
• Permanent accommodation in Gozo can be discussed as part of the package for those wishing to relocate long-term

• The hotel is located in Marsalforn, Gozo, just before the entrance to the town, near the Chinese restaurant.
• The hotel will feature 120 rooms, a rooftop pool, a garden pool, an indoor pool in the SPA, conference facilities, a bar, and a restaurant.
• Competitive salary, negotiable based on experience and expertise. Our client recognizes that this is a senior position and will offer an appropriate compensation package.
• After the initial 5 months, the PM will be responsible for various other real estate development projects across Gozo.
