One of our clients in the hospitality industry is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Recruiter to lead the team and ensure continuity to bring on board the right people at the right time!

Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Proactively source, identify, and engage top talent for restaurant operations across various channels, including job boards, social media, networking events, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future positions, from front-of-house staff to culinary professionals.
  • Conduct thorough screening interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews in collaboration with HODs and team leaders to ensure a seamless hiring process.
  • Partner with restaurant managers and department heads to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies tailored to the industry.
  • Provide guidance and expertise on restaurant-specific recruitment best practices, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and providing timely feedback throughout the recruitment process.
  • Utilise recruiting metrics and analytics to measure the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and make data-driven improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in restaurant recruitment to continuously refine the talent acquisition approach.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, with a strong focus on full-cycle recruiting for the restaurant industry.
  • Proven experience in sourcing and placing candidates in various restaurant roles, including front-of-house, back-of-house, and management positions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple open roles simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, CRM systems).
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment strategies, techniques, and best practices specific to the restaurant industry.
  • Familiarity with employment laws and regulations related to hiring and recruitment within the restaurant sector.
  • Understanding of industry trends and the competitive landscape in restaurant recruitment.
