Location: Hybrid (Malta-based) | Industry: Insurance

Looking to make a real impact in the regulatory and compliance space? One of our clients is on the lookout for a Regulatory & Insurance Distributor Directive Officer to help steer their compliance efforts and support the delivery of trusted insurance products across Europe.
You will work closely with the Senior Regulatory Officer to ensure adherence and compliance with all requirements under the ID Directive and other relevant regulations. You’ll be a key player in shaping internal governance, training teams, and supporting compliance strategies that align with our dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Monitor changes in regulations and update policies accordingly.
• Oversee IDD obligations like fair customer treatment, product governance, and audits.
• Help build engaging compliance training for employees and partners.
• Maintain up-to-date registers, prepare reports, and escalate issues when needed.
• Work with legal, risk, and operational teams to ensure everyone is aligned.
• Spot areas for improvement and keep the compliance approach future-ready.

What You’ll Need

• A degree in Law, Compliance, or a related field.
• Solid knowledge of IDD and other insurance regulations (experience is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
• Fluency in English; bonus points for French or another EU language.
