Road Construction Labourer (Skilled and Semi-Skilled)

Conducting a variety of tasks in the maintenance, construction, and repair of roads, pavements, and storm sewers. This role encompasses both skilled and semi-skilled labour, allowing for a collaborative work environment that supports professional growth.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Levelling Works: Carrying out precise levelling tasks as required.
Kerb Laying: Installing and positioning kerbs as part of road and pavement construction.
Site Preparation: Assisting in the preparation of construction sites, including clearing debris and setting up materials.
Equipment Operation: Operating and caring for construction equipment and machines.
Material Handling: Loading and unloading construction materials efficiently.
General Labour Tasks: Performing general labour tasks such as digging, lifting, and moving materials.
Safety Compliance: Ensuring work sites are clean and safe, adhering to all safety regulations.
Follow Instructions: Following instructions from supervisors as required, collaborating with both skilled and semi-skilled team members.

Minimum Requirements:

Skilled Labourer: Proven experience in road construction, particularly in levelling works.
Semi-Skilled Labourer: Experience in concrete work and kerb laying.
Ability to work in a team environment and follow directives.
