Technical Sales Solution Executive

The Technical Sales Solution Executive will be responsible for driving sales by creating and presenting tailored solutions for firefighting and fire compartmentation systems, including sprinkler systems, gaseous suppression systems, and fire doors. While a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical and Commercial Solutions: Develop cost-effective solutions that align with client requirements and budget constraints. Manage customer inquiries and propose feasible, detailed solutions.
  • Site Assessment: Conduct site visits to assess project viability, risks, and potential challenges, ensuring accurate and competitive proposals.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all solutions comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, delivering high-quality project outcomes.
  • Client Engagement and Sales: Build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and present tailored solutions. Utilize strong communication skills to convey technical concepts clearly and persuasively, supporting the sales process.
  • Business Development: Actively seek new business opportunities, generate leads, and close deals. Stay informed on market trends, local and international policies, and competitor activities to drive sales growth.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering and commercial teams to align technical solutions with client expectations and project goals.
 
Required Qualifications & Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales or a related sales role, ideally within the fire safety industry.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience in creating technical proposals and managing sales processes from inquiry to close.
  • Valid Maltese driving license.
Required Skills & Attributes:
  • Communication: Strong ability to present complex technical information clearly and build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders. Proficient in negotiating and resolving conflicts, including contract variations. Fluent in English, with basic Maltese preferred.
  • Customer Focus: Commitment to understanding and fulfilling customer needs, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality service.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify issues, develop solutions, and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in proposals, documentation, and project deliverables.
  • Business Development: Ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, understand market trends, and drive sales.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management tools and software, including Excel, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD.
  • Financial Management: Understanding of budgeting principles and financial management practices.
