We are seeking a skilled and experienced Tiler to join one of our client’s growing teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing a wide range of tiles — including marble — across various residential and commercial projects. This role requires precision, craftsmanship, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. If you have a keen eye for detail, strong technical knowledge, and a portfolio to show your past work, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Measure and calculate material quantities required for each project.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and ensuring suitability for tile installation, with particular attention to marble surfaces.
- Cut, shape, and install tiles using hand and power tools with accuracy and care.
- Align and space tiles precisely to meet design specifications and aesthetic goals.
- Mix and apply adhesives, grout, and sealants effectively.
- Remove existing tiles and prepare surfaces for new installations as needed.
- Repair or replace broken, cracked, or damaged tiles.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and design plans.
- Work closely with clients, contractors, and other trades to meet project timelines and expectations.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in safe working condition.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and site regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tiler, with a strong portfolio — especially in marble installation.
- In-depth knowledge of tile-laying materials, techniques, and tools.
- Ability to accurately measure and calculate material needs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and layout plans.
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in a variety of positions.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
