Tyre Technician

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Tyre Technician to join our client’s dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and performance of customers’ vehicles by inspecting, repairing, and replacing tyres. You will also provide exceptional customer service, working with a leading supplier of all major tire brands in Malta.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform tyre installations, balancing, and rotations for various types of vehicles.
Inspect and assess tyre condition and tread depth, recommending replacements as necessary.
Diagnose and repair tyre-related issues, including punctures and leaks.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and ensure all work is completed to company standards.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer concerns and answering questions about tyre care and maintenance.
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
Keep accurate records of services performed and parts used.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as a tyre Technician or in a related automotive role.
Strong understanding of tyre installation, balancing, and repair techniques.
Ability to use tyre-related tools and equipment effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including lifting heavy tyres.
Relevant automotive certifications or training is a plus.
