Accountant

One of our Client, a prestigious Accountant firm in Malta, is looking to expand its great team with a reliable Accountant to assist in the growing business of client accounting.

The selected candidate will manage an accounting team and will principally have the below job duties:

• Preparation and submission of all VAT returns of the assigned clients
• Preparation and submission of all management accounts of the assigned clients
• Preparation and submission of tax returns for the assigned clients
• Preparation of all audit papers for audits of assigned clients as per requested deadlines

Person Specification:

• Possession of a University degree in Accounting
• ACCA or be in the process of attaining an accounting qualification.
• Is proficient in Excel and Accounting software
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organisation and with staff at remote locations
• Candidates should be based in Malta
• Strong command of the English language and good communication skills.
• Displays strong confidentiality and work ethics

Qualified Accountants or individuals undergoing further studies in Accounts will be considered for this job role.

Experience will be considered an asset but training will be available on all job responsibilities.
