Accounts Clerk (Applicants MUST be in Malta)
One of our esteemed clients, is looking for a full-time ‘Accounts Clerk’ to join their finance team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Maintaining general ledgers and general bank postings
- Maintaining the creditor’s ledger, posting of invoices, raising payments to local suppliers on a timely basis, and reconciliation of suppliers’ statements
- Assisting in the daily sales reconciliations
- Sending monthly statements and chasing receivables
- Preparing bank deposits
- Filing and administration tasks
- Work in collaboration with the Finance Manager
- Performing any other duties of an administrative and accounting nature as may be delegated from time to time
Person Specification:
- 2-3 years of Finance & Accounting environment
- A-Level qualification in Accounts and/or starting ACCA
- Work experience in an office environment and knowledge of basic office skills
- Computer literacy (MS Office tools)
- Knowledge and previous experience in Shireburn Software Computer Systems will be considered an asset
- Excellent English & Maltese written and spoken
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good organisational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to prioritise day-to-day tasks
- Must be highly motivated with an ability to take ownership
- Ability to work on own and as part of a team
