Chef de Partie
One of our clients, an upmarket bistro in Malta, is seeking an experienced Chef De Partie to join their culinary team.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Will report to the Restaurant Manager / Head Chef
- Assist in day-to-day operations of the kitchen
- Work on different sections of the kitchen
- Follow the in-house HACCP regulations
- Be familiar with the menu and with any “specials”
- Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely fashion
- Be passionate for high end cuisine
- Stay up to speed with latest cuisine trends
- Must be standards driven and detail-oriented
- Pay close attention to detail in food preparation
- Adopt flexible working hours
Requirement:
- Chef de Partie with at least 2-3 years in the role, in a 5-star/high-end environment
- Vocational Culinary Degree a plus
- Experience in Mediterranean cuisine
- Knowledge of à la carte menu
