Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

 One of our esteemed clients is looking for a CFO, responsible for the financial strategy and planning including implementation of the company’s overall business operations.  Whilst ensuring that the company’s financial operations are in compliance with relevant laws and regulations, that they are also of good financial standing.

Responsibilities:

  • Financial strategy and planning, which includes developing and implementing financial strategies that support the company’s overall business objectives
  • Financial reporting, which includes preparing and delivering financial reports to stakeholders such as the Board of Directors, investors, and regulatory bodies
  • Budgeting and forecasting, which includes developing and monitoring the company’s budget and financial forecasts to ensure that they are aligned with the company’s overall business objectives
  • Cash management, which includes managing the company’s cash flow and ensuring adequate liquidity to meet the company’s financial obligations
  • Risk management, which includes identifying and managing financial risks that may impact the company’s financial performance
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations, such as reporting requirements, tax laws, and other financial regulations
  • Investor relations, in terms of continuous communication with investors and analysts and providing them with relevant financial information and insights;
  • Leadership and team management through the establishment of financial goals and objectives, as well as the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the finance function operates efficiently and effectively

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Manager; experience working for a PLC company structure will be advantageous
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Able to manage, guide and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used
  • A solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles
  • Working knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations;
  • BS/MA degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or ACCA
