Delivery Person

Our Client, a leading importer and distributor of food products, is looking for a delivery person. In this position, you will play a key role in the proper care and maintenance of our stock, receiving and managing inventory, and overseeing the accurate delivery of goods to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Helping the stores personnel in the loading of trucks in preparation for the delivery
• Distribute stock at customer premises (i.e., supermarkets, mini markets, cafes, hotels, and restaurants) around the islands of Malta and Gozo)
• Responsible to always keep the truck clean
• Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
• Follow the route and time schedule briefed by the organization
• Follow transport Malta regulations and safety standards

Required Qualifications

• In Possession of an International C or C1 driving license
• A clean driving license,
• The ability to read and communicate in English
• The ability to work independently
• A positive work attitude
• Clean police conduct
• Ability to work under diverse weather and traffic conditions
• Excellent time management skills
• High motivation to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work under pressure with minimal supervision
• We accept Maltese residents, EU Nationals and Third Country Nationals that are already residing in Malta with a valid work permit and Third Country Nationals, residing abroad, with a Valid International C and C1 Driving license

Remuneration

• An attractive remuneration is provided for this position
• Monthly performance bonus is paid based on the deliveries made during the month
• Extra hours worked are paid overtime at the hourly rate x 1.5
