Responsibilities:
- Culinary Excellence: Execute culinary techniques with finesse and precision to contribute to the creation of innovative, high-quality dishes that align with the restaurant’s Bib Gourmand standards
- Station Management: Take ownership of a designated kitchen station, ensuring that all components are prepared to perfection, adhering to the restaurant’s commitment to excellence in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Executive Chef and other team members to maintain a harmonious kitchen environment, fostering open communication and cooperation to achieve culinary objectives
- Ingredient Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of ingredients, their seasonal variations, and proper handling techniques, ensuring the utilization of the freshest and finest products in every dish
- Hygiene and Safety: Strictly adhere to hygiene and safety protocols, maintaining a clean and organized workspace while upholding the highest standards of food safety and sanitation
Qualifications:
- Equivalent experience in a high-end restaurant environment
- Proven experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or a similar role in a Michelin-starred or Bib Gourmand restaurant
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavour profiles, and international cuisines
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Passion for continuous learning and staying updated on culinary trends
