Design and Sales Consultant

One of our client, a well-known local furniture retailer in Malta is looking for a Design and Sales Consultant to join their energetic team that values collaboration and teamwork.
The candidate will be closely working with the Retail Sales Manager and the CEO and will be responsible for designing and generating sales that meet the company’s established goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Implement and execute all sales objectives and action plans to reach and exceed targets set;

  • Ensure comprehensive and up to date knowledge of the company’s product portfolio and its unique selling points and features so as to provide the most professional advice to customers;
  • Analyse customer needs and recommend appropriate furniture according to their budget;
  • Provide quotations and close sales;
  • Using digital design software to create prototypes, drawings, and other representations to show the clients what the end product will look like;
  • Ability to create a computer-based floor plan and work with design software and templates;
  • Input data into point-of-sale (POS) system accurately and in timely manner;
  • Attend sales training both locally and abroad.


  • A minimum of two years’ experience in retail sales;
  • A genuine desire and tenacity to close sales;
  • A friendly team player with drive and enthusiasm;
  • Must be highly personable and professional;
  • Excellent creative, communication, and organizational skills;
  • Attention to detail and time management skills;
  • Flair for design;
  • Ability to use design programs is an advantage, but full training will be provided to the selected candidate;
  • Microsoft Office Application Skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree in spatial design or any other related certification.
