Draughtsperson / Site Surveyor

One of our client, a well-known local furniture retailer in Malta is looking for a Draughts Person / Site Surveyor in order join their energetic team that values collaboration and teamwork.
The candidate will be closely working with the Retail Sales Manager and the CEO and will be in charge of preparing drawings and electrical layouts, primarily using AutoCAD, and ensuring that design drawings adhere to specifications. He/she will typically work in our offices, but you must travel at times.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Conduct site surveys, which include taking precise measurements, to help bring out the best in each client’s area or place;
• Perform calculations for materials and weight limitations;
• Identify and communicate potential design problems to the rest of the team;
• Prepare both rough sketches and ACAD drawings;
• Carry out electrical and plumbing drawings;
• Implementing necessary rectifications as needed to ensure quality standards are met.

Requirements:

• Experience in computer-aided design programs;
• Capability to draw manually favorable;
• Be respectful, courteous, confident, and meticulous with a ‘Can Do’ attitude;
• A logical and systematic approach to work;
• Good time management ability;
• An eye for detail;
• Good communication in English is a must; Maltese is an asset;
• Microsoft Office Application Skills;
• Possession of a valid driver’s license.
