Store Manager

Our client is currently seeking a store Manager who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the store while ensuring a harmonious alignment with the Company’s strategic objectives. The role encompasses the comprehensive oversight of all store operations, all of which should be conducted in accordance with the Company’s overarching goals and mission. 


Stock Management:

  • Ensure timely and effective order replenishment. 
  • Organize the stockroom efficiently. 
  • Merchandise the store based on best sellers, current trends, and guidelines. 

Sales, Hours & Productivity: 

  • Utilize commercial insights and product knowledge to drive sales and marketing initiatives. 
  • Manage the store budget effectively. 
  • Plan and implement a scheduling rota to optimize staff placement. 
  • Monitor and achieve sales targets. 
  • Be aware of and provide feedback on competitors’ activities. 

Shop Procedures and Cost Control: 

  • Implement and monitor procedures to meet targets and ensure cost control. 
  • Manage security and shrinkage. 
  • Oversee cash desk operations and administration. 

Customer Service: 

  • Maintain consistent customer service standards and motivate the team to do the same. 

People Management Procedures: 

  • Implement, monitor, and correct procedures for team management, training, and development. 

Payroll and Payroll System: 

  • Manage processes related to sickness and absence. 

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • 2+ years of retail experience. 
  • Experience in selling luxury and/or lifestyle consumer goods preferred. 
  • Computer literacy and research skills. 
  • O’Level Standard of Education. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, professionalism, and confidence. 
  • Passion for sales and providing exceptional customer service. 
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus. 
  • Flexibility to work shifts starting as early as 05:30 and ending as late as 22:00.
