Finance Clerk

Finance Clerk  
One of our clients in the retail industry, is looking for a Finance person to support the administrative functions of the Finance Department and its team. 
Main duties and responsibilities: 

  • General administrative and accounting duties 
  • Checking and posting invoices (payable and receivables) and payments in a timely manner 
  • Issuing payments to suppliers 
  • Reconciliations of sales, bank and suppliers’ statements and petty cash 
  • Monitoring bank transfers 
  • Ensuring that all policies and procedures relating to accounts are properly implemented and adhered to 
  • Providing accounting support as required to ensure a smooth operation of tasks 
  • Other related accounting duties. 

Requirements & skills: 

  • Experience in a similar position is considered an asset 
  • Having an accounting background and good knowledge of double entry is preferred
