Franchise Development Manager – MUST BE IN MALTA OR EU CITIZENS 

One of our clients ,a well known grocery shop, is looking for a person, ideally with a background in retail management and operations to assume responsibility for the coordination and communications with our franchised operators. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), the primary objective of the Franchisee Development Executive is to manage project management of new franchise opportunities, whilst improving and strengthening the business relationship with existing franchise partners. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assisting new franchise partners with setting up new stores while ensuring conformity with standards and the brand image
  • Managing and assisting existing franchise partners with the running of their stores as to ensure operational efficiency, achievement of dedicated performance metrics and good upselling techniques
  • Setting up and/or reviewing franchise standard operating procedures aimed at increasing synergies and facilitating smooth operations
  • Assisting the CCO with the planning and execution of cutting-edge strategies and technologies
  • Providing direct input to decisions that affect the functional and operational areas of responsibility
  • Providing direct input to global store design and store layout
  • Assisting the CCO with the development campaigns and strategies to drive key products’ turnover and profitability

Person Requirements:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in retail management
  • Strong coordination skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Project management competence
  • Leadership skills
  • Creative approach
  • Ability to make things happen within tight deadlines
  • Fluent in English
