Housekeeping Manager

Housekeeping Manager (MUST be in Malta)
We are looking for a Housekeeping Manager to join our company on a full-time basis. The ideal applicant would be someone who works on his/her own initiative, is a good communicator and gets things done. S/he must be in Malta and have their have own transport.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the Kwikleen cleaning team in terms of assigning cleaners to clients, administering rosters and working around any changes requested from clients or staff
- Be involved in the shortlisting, interviewing and selection of cleaning and housekeeping personnel for both our sister company Kwikleen and our clients
- Liaise with HR for orientation process of new recruits
- Assigning cleaners to clients in a way which maximises efficiency
- Address any issues as efficiently possible
- Follow up and carry out meeting with clients to assess service standards and their satisfaction with our service
- Communicate with staff on a regular basis to see if there are any issues that require solving
- Accompany cleaners when there are deep clean requests
- Ensure cleaners have the necessary tools and cleaning equipment
- Ensure cleaners have a well-kept uniform and it is worn appropriately when on duty
- Identify business prospects and engage in business development initiatives
- Build and maintain good business relationship between the agency and clients
Person Specification:
- The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar position (HK Supervisor/HK Manager)
- Be a able to work with a team
- Must be familiar with both commercial and household cleaning
- Must be customer-oriented
- Must have a valid driving license and own transport
- Must be able to work on weekends where needed
- Speak fluent English
- Applicant MUST be in Malta at the moment
- Any other language would be considered an asset
