Jewellery and Watch Advisor

One of our clients is looking for a passionate Jewellery and Watch Advisor responsible for the sales and operational aspects of the outlet and for the day-to-day needs of the business. This position calls for a self-motivated person who innately possesses the drive to conduct and increase sales, and a passion for jewellery, timepieces, and other luxury accessories.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Boutique Assistant/Sales Manager in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the outlet, especially in closing sales
  • Responsible for conducting, assist and organizing sales; reaching and exceeding monthly sales target of the outlet
  • Being the first point of contact for the client, the Advisor must act as an ambassador for the group
  • Follows up with the buyer after a purchase is concluded
  • Acquiring thorough product and brand knowledge and handling them with the standards required by the company;
  • Ensuring a thorough follow-through with the client through all stages of the customer experience. Greeting and assisting all customers politely as they enter and leave the outlet, establish and maintain a good relationship with all clients
  • Handling of after sales and repairs, liaising with customers on established repair timelines and collection date, issuing quotes and liaising with customer care and the client to completion, ensuring the customer is fulfilled with our after sales service
  • Keeping oneself informed about the Company, its products, items in stock and organisational procedures
  • Being alert to fraudulent bank notes, cheques or credit cards, general theft awareness and implementation of security guidelines
  • Able to maintain high standards of display and visual merchandising to ensure the store is well presented, ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Identifying sales opportunities and trends, and highlighting them to the Sales Manager/ Supervisor

Job Requirements:

  • Must be living in Malta
  • Have 2+ years’ experience in a dynamic sales environment, preferably in luxury retail.
  • Have an O’level standard of education
  • Be computer literate and research savvy
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating professionalism and confidence
  • A passion for sales and in providing impeccable customer service
  • Fluency in English
  • Strong sense of responsibility and a keen, proactive approach towards business needs
