One of our clients, a British Pub & Restaurant in central Malta, is looking for kitchen & service staff to join their team. The ideal candidate must have experience in a similar environment in the UK. Applicant must be already living in Malta.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Assist in day-to-day operations of the kitchen/front of house
• Be familiar with the menu and with any “specials”
• Ensure all dishes are prepared and served in a timely manner
• Be passionate for British cuisine
• Stay up to speed with the latest cuisine trends
• Must be standards driven and detail-oriented
• Pay close attention to detail in food preparation and service
• Adopt flexible working hours
• Ensure quality service in the dining room and serve meals
• Prepare and serve beverages
• Prepare the bills for beverages and meals ordered, process payments, and then balance daily transactions
• Take reservations and greet the take-out counter customers
• Handle any customer complaints or problems promptly and ensure that all resolved/unresolved incidents are reported to the Management
• Comply with health and Safety and HACCAP regulations
• Comply with equipment usage guidelines
• Ensure your work area is clean
• Organise your work and work area professionally

Requirements:

• Fluency in English and other languages
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
