Office Automation Service Technician 

One of our clients, a pioneer IT company in Malta, are looking for an Office Automation Service Technician to join their team on a full-time basis. The position entails servicing and repairing a variety of office automation products, particularly printing solutions.

The selected candidate will be responsible for device setup and installation, preventative maintenance and routine service calls on small-to-medium segment multifunction printers at customer locations as well as workshop repairs. Technical training will be provided when necessary. 
 
Main Responsibilities: 
The selected candidate will be required to perform a full range of servicing and repair service procedures on assigned equipment including: 

  • Diagnostics 
  • Installation 
  • removal  
  • retrofits 
  • Install the device driver software  
  • Provide customer training on printing standalone and network devices 

 
Desired qualifications and experience: 

  • Previous experience in a similar position is considered an asset 
  • Possession of a formal qualification in a related field is considered an asset 
  • Good knowledge of computing and networking principles 
  • A valid driver’s license.
