Purchasing Manager 
 
One of our esteemed clients in the hospitality industry is looking for a Purchasing Manager to join their team at Head Office. 
  
The Purchasing Manager will need to negotiate contracts for the purchase of required goods and keep accurate records of transaction trends whilst implementing purchasing policies, systems, and procedures in accordance with Company standards.  
 
Responsibilities: 
 

  • Monitor suppliers for their quality, service, and prices through standard purchasing specifications 
  • Obtain the most competitive quotations 
  • Ensure that the best products are sourced and purchased  
  • Ensure that the correct order is delivered on time and as agreed 
  • Ensuring the efficient operation of the purchasing department in general 
  • Research to identify new products and services in the market for the hotels and restaurants   

  
Requirements: 
 

  • Very good knowledge of MS Office 
  • Willing to work a flexible schedule to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks 
  • Excellent communication and people skills 
  • Good organisational and multi-tasking abilities 
  • Problem-solving skills 
  • Eye for detail and a positive working attitude 
  • Strong organisational and follow-up skills 
  • Time-management skills 
  • Able to take initiative, delegate and work in a team.
