Restaurant Manager (Must be in Malta)
Our client, a Michelin Star Restaurant, is looking for a motivated, team-oriented, experienced Restaurant Manager to manage the premises.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Acknowledging the guest, hosting, answering the telephone according to the company standard, greeting and seating guests.
- Ensure a consistently high standard of service, smart and well-trained staff who are directed and coached at all times.
- Control the emotions of any guest who is complaining by adopting a caring and efficient manner and to follow up any cases reported by staff.
- Be efficient, caring and friendly in all communications when dealing with guests and colleagues.
- Be professional, co-operative with staff. Be a good team member, flexible and agree to carrying out instructions given by your superiors.
- Conduct on the job training and ensure that standards, behaviour and proper grooming is adhered to at all times.
- Ensure high service standards are maintained.
Person Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a casual establishment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must speak fluent English
- Able to manage a team
- Good knowledge of HACCP
- Excellent managerial & training skills
- Ability to motivate & train a team of co-workers
- A flair for managing a busy operation
- Committed to guest/client satisfaction
- Able to maximize profits and sales
