UX Designer (Must be in Malta/EU National)

Our client is looking for performance-driven UX/UI designer to join their creative team. This role calls for creating UX and customer experience strategies, and implementation via user-experience design tools. 

The selected candidate will be expected to work to consistently improve and optimise UX/UI performance, ensuring digital products of the highest standard – enabling clients to succeed. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Decipher product/platform requirements, building them into beautiful workflows and interfaces
  • Oversee the user experience of a product from conception to launch, in partnership with team leaders, marketing executives, content writers and developers
  • Take conceptual ideas and transform them into tangible experiences that deliver value to users
  • Design end-to-end digital platforms, such as applications and websites, that are easy-to-user and drive conversions
  • Design within the capability of developers for seamless implementation
  • Ensure excellent cross-device functionality, from mobile to desktop and tablet
  • Acquire feedback from stakeholders and implement it for the optimisation of platforms
  • Support and contribute to the company’s growth
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Person Specification:

An excellent portfolio to show for:

  • Experience using UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, and Elementor (WordPress) 
  • Knowledge on WordPress CMS 
  • Hands-on and analytical approach to problem solving 
  • Ability to work in a time-effective manner and under pressure 
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision and with high autonomy 
  • Obsession on the details and creating pixel perfect products 

Desirable Criteria:

  • Experience working in a similar role/position
  • Experience in designing UX/UI for businesses in the iGaming industry 
  • Experience in designing UX/UI for e-commerce businesses 
  • Ability to communicate in more than one language (English required) 
  • Knowledge in languages such as CSS, JS, etc.
