Usual responsibilities for the position of Chef:
- Preparation of menus in a teamwork with your colleagues
- Making sure the cooking stations and supplies are adequate
- Ensuring frequently used ingredients are readily available
- Work to the guidelines of the executive or sous chef to work out new ways of any presentation or dishes on the menu
- Optimising the cooking process balancing speed and quality with high-quality results
- Absolute strictness with health and hygiene standards
- Collaborate in having and maintaining a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation in the kitchen
Requirements for the position of Chef:
Culinary school diploma
Solid experience in the role
Excellent hold of various cooking procedures, methods and equipment as well as ingredients
Multitasking skills and efficiency
High performance even when working under pressure
Rich know-how and practicality with the best cooking practices
