Gate Attendant

We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join the team at one of the best 5-star hotels in Malta. As a Gate Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor access to the facility according to membership plans
  • Sell day passes and other access options to guests
  • Assist guests with towel service and any other needs they may have
  • Perform cashiering duties, including processing payments and issuing receipts
  • Conduct end-of-day reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial transactions
  • Maintain a clean and organised workstation

Requirements:

  • Previous customer service experience
  • Polite and customer-focused demeanour
  • Proficient in spoken English
  • Basic computer literacy skills, including the use of laptops, Micros and EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) systems
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and reconciliation
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and under minimal supervision
