Insurance Technical Officer – German/French Speaking 

Job Role: 
Become a vital part of our client’s dynamic operations team as an Insurance Technical Officer, reporting to the Head of Claims! Embrace the opportunity to contribute to efficient claim processing, comprehensive complaint management, and meticulous policy implementation.  

Responsibilities:  

Claim Processing: 

  • Ensure ongoing training of Claim Handlers. 
  • Support daily handling of claims. 
  • Evaluate claims based on policy terms and regulations. 
  • Liaise with Medical Experts for assessments. 
  • Follow up on claim resolution efficiently. 
  • Assist in reviewing and responding to complaints. 
  • Perform UAT and IT-required User testing. 

Policy Management: 

  • Assist in implementing insurance coverage. 
  • Ensure up-to-date policy coverage information. 

Documentation and Records Keeping: 

  • Maintain organised records of policies and claims. 
  • Prepare monthly reports for management review. 
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. 

1st Level of Controls Claim & Complaint: 

  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of controls. 
  • Identify and report abnormalities. 
  • Follow up on controls in progress. 

Requirements: 

  • Fluency in English and German is a must; additional European languages are an asset. 
  • Previous experience in insurance or claims processing. 
  • Excellent Excel skills. 
  • Diligence, reliability, and ability to work under pressure. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
